- I don't have the IDEfix package but a similar adapter for my A4000. You
- should just be able to connect one volume to every connector. My adapter
- has three outs and one in, the in connector takes the IDE cable between the
- adapter and the motherboard, the first out takes a cable that forks into
- two outlets for two bootable volumes, the second out connector similarly
- takes a forked IDE cable for another two volumes that are not bootable (so
- I have two HD's on the first connector and a CD-ROM on the second). The
- third out has no connector soldered to it but seems to be designated for
- usage with an A1200, although it is not clear how it can be used. I guess they
- have different manuals for the A4000 and A1200 version and use the same
- base board with different connectors soldered to it and maybe some
- different software.
-
- You should get a manual from your supplier, or some help from someone who
- has the exact same adapter you have, I can't help you any further I'm
- afraid.
